We are looking for a People Coordinator for startup asap, long tirm assignment.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of People Coordinator, with a particular focus on managing the recruitment and development of apprentices. This position involves coordinating the apprenticeship program, participating in recruitment activities, and collaborating with local schools to ensure a successful practice period. The People Coordinator will also work closely with the People Business Partner to provide ongoing support to apprentices throughout their 2-year apprentice period. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Recruitment and Onboarding of Apprentices: 

  • Plan and execute the intake of apprentices, ensuring alignment with organizational needs. 
  • Participate in recruitment fairs and other events to attract potential apprentices. 
  • Promote the apprentice program with local schools to build strong partnerships. 
  • Post apprentice roles on relevant job boards and social media platforms. 
  • Screen, interview, conduct reference checks, and select suitable apprentice candidates. 
  • Prepare job offers for selected apprentices. 
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new apprentices, facilitating a smooth transition into the organization. 

Collaboration with Schools and Practice Period Facilitation: 

  • Collaborate with local schools to establish and maintain positive relationships. 
  • Facilitate practice periods for students, ensuring a valuable learning experience. 
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and educational institutions to foster effective communication. 

Ongoing People Support and Follow-up: 

  • Collaborate with the People Business Partner to follow up on apprentices throughout their 2-year apprentice period. 
  • Manage ad hoc requests from managers and employees 
  • Create and maintain accurate employee records. 
  • Monitor leave and attendance (sick leave, overtime, vacation balances) 
  • Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. 
  • Assist in the coordination of exit processes, including exit interviews. 
  • Support People Business Partner with administrative requests 
  • Work closely with the HR team to continuously improve service delivery. 
  • Participate in or lead ad hoc projects based on business requirements. 
  • Support the overall recruitment process, including job description preparation, posting, scheduling interviews, applicant management, job offers and smooth onboarding process 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes, employment laws, preferably also apprenticeship regulations. 
  • Familiarity with HR systems and software. 
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
